NFi Studios to attend the 2008 Association Technology Conference

This week a team from NFi Studios including yours truly, will be traveling to Washington, D.C. for the 2008 Association Technology Conference & Expo. I consider my attendance and participation at this event a great way for me to start the year off proactively. I have no doubt that the ASAE Conference is a premier gathering which will have a significant, positive impact on my life, personally and on NFi Studios. The ASAE Conference is gathering together industry leaders, top notch technologists and key innovators – all of whom, we anticipate, will bring us to a high level of learning. NFi Studios plans to host a booth at the Conference which we predict will also boost our company’s visibility.

I am also delighted and honored to share the speaker platform with John Gander from The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE). With offices in Asia, Africa, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the United States, ACTE is a not-for-profit association providing executive-level global education to business travel leaders in 50 countries. The following is a brief excerpt of my intended address:

‘In an increasingly wired world, businesses have had to adapt their strategies to meet the needs of an ever more discerning consumer with tailored, on demand content. Associations that want to stay relevant-especially to the “MySpace” generation, must adapt as well. Based on a detailed case study, this session will demonstrate how your organization can leverage Web 2.0 functionalities, including blogs, social networking, and wikis, in order to deliver unparalleled member value and additional sources of non-dues revenue. Hear the business case used to gain buy-in-both internally and externally-as well as the metrics used to measure ROI.

Benefits and Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the array of second generation (Web 2.0) capabilities that foster collaboration and sharing between users such as blogs, social networking, wikis, and folksonomies
  2. Evaluate the application of Web 2.0 functionalities to your own organization; understand the checks and balances needed
  3. Construct the business case for adapting Web 2.0 functionality and measuring ROI

Attending the Conference? We look forward to meeting and greeting you. Please feel free to visit our booth #231 at the Technology Solutions Marketplace. See you there!
